That means it is OK for LTTE to kill civilians as far as GOSL kills them??
Certainly no..and what I meant was attacking members of the armed forces like any other war... and that too they have no right to strip the soldiers naked in the event of death...
Killing civilians is not war it is cold blooded murder. But there are killings of certain civilians or politicians that is common in war. Germans attempted on Churchill, De Gaulle (spelling ?)and the US tried to kill Hitler...or special brains behind war efforts are abducted or killed for strategic reasons.
But no way any one can kill villagers and ordinary folks.

TRANSIENTS enjoy all benefits, because they are Transients.
There is a whole economy surviving on the heels of Transients around the world. Transients are worshipped everywhere for they are a primary source of income.
Transients within the country is your best bet for survival.

what do you think of LTTE declairing UDI on the Pongal day?
This is a hypothetical question deserves a hypothetical answer. Tamils are Sri Lankans too and they have to make up their own minds. Those who are settled in the South will probabily continue living among Sinhalese and Muslim friends but those who escaped army harassment or starvation will return.
I think UDI theory is a propaganda to keep the hardliners preoccupied with the justification of presidents men's military jingoism.
LTTE may declare UDI at a later date when things are favourable to them, if the prsident continues to abandon the conciliatory approach. |
