Sorry to say that is the type of solution any GOVT will take time like that. Either Carpet Bombing or use Bunker Busting Bomb.
That doesn't mean everyone approve it either.

a legitimate military target is hit and youre saying going after civilians is correct. wow.
i used to wonder whether most of the sinhalese are against tamils in general but just say that they are only
against the LTTE but i find that VERY VERY hard to beleive.
i used to say the the GOSL was practicing GENOCIDE and a few members here have said not so. but its sentiments
and comments like this that reinforces the notion that nothing short of complete annihilation of the tamils will satisfy the masses.

I didn't say it's correct. I said it is the standarad operation procedure for any army. When a military get attacked they do retaliate. Nothing new over here. Look into history of wars rather than just blaming SL Army. I have nothing against ordinary tamil. But I'm against LTTE and their helpers.
