No ShameA if source is the criminal Sinhala terrorist government then we know it is a guranteed lie:

British and ***Sri Lankan authorities*** say the proceeds from this kind of international ATM fraud are routed back to the Tamil Tigers, Han wrote.

Ok, GoSL lies, what about British? Are they also liers. Com'on Revy accept the facts. There are criminals everywhere and LTTE also runs criminal gangs to collect money. It's a well known fact. Just live with it till you are caught :)

Smuggling and fraud is a integral part of the LTTE. Contribution from arm chair terrorists in the west is very small compared to what LTTE get from smuggling and fraudulent activities. As usual when caught you disown them.

Six were nabbed in January in a raid at the Chelsea Inn, a reputed lair for the ultraviolent Sri Lankan separatist group.

The other two, including alleged ringleader Sivapalasri Velayuthampillai, 31, of Newark, were busted in July.

These are all Russian and European Immigrants who got FAKE passports from GOSL.

LTTE - tamils are accused for no reason.

This is nothing but absterd.

Tigers have no connection what so ever with this credit card things.
it was reported a sinhala guy was selling credit cards for £150 to £200 and if anyone have luck they may make some money out of it.

it was said people do buy cards for 3000 ( 20 cards and try it on machines , if they have luck they could take anything from £50 to £15,000.

youngsters are hooked up with thiis crime fantacy fall for this.

'A band of men linked to Tamil Tiger terrorists....Manhattan prosecutors told the Daily News the eight men had ties to the terror group and were part of a scheme to use stolen credit card numbers to steal $250,000 in New York - and tens of millions from ATMs worldwide.'

Prosecutors said Velayuthampillai entered the U.S. with a fake passport and dubious tale of persecution. He was given political asylum in December 2001 under circumstances still under investigation by District Attorney Robert Morgenthau.

'dubious tale of persecution.' no surprise there...

'The defendant is part of a large, highly organized ring of international criminals who steal account and PIN numbers ... and then come to the United States to steal money from our financial institutions,' Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Kim Han said in court papers. This summer, Jane's Intelligence Review said the Tamil Tigers raise up to $300 million a year through international credit card fraud, extortion and donations.

'$300 million a year' Wonder how much is in Velu's $$ accounts :0)

BTW this is not tamilnet news...so don't worry it's all punakku.

More terror tales to come....

Thanks. I am confused because Mr Brown put the source as 'nydailynews'. I thought New York Daily News. When I brought the mouse to the link, I found that it is 'daily punnaku'.
