The 'forces' not necessarily have to carry arms... not necessarily have to be in SLDF... Have you forgotten 'democratic' forces?
Sorry... I cannot agree and give out what my sources tell me. SISSLs would always be the majority in SLDF... I think it's not realistic change that factor.
But TASSLs are there working with SLDF and other govt. agencies all the time in annihilating the LTTE.
You are on thin ice trying to hide the fact that the GOSL doesn't hire Tamils (or other minorities) to the armed forces. Be truthful and accept this instead of coming up with a pathetic hoodwink.

What proof you have that LTTE is made of TASSLs? Cannot they be Injun / other mercenaries? Are we blindly going to conclude?
My understanding is that the LTTE is made up of almost 100% Tamils of the NE with maybe some foreigners. Do you have proof to the contrary?
It just remains for the world to recognize this and clear up your confusion.

If you say Tamils of the NE are a separate nation (Eelam) and you don't take them into the army, that is not racism.
If you say Tamils of the NE are Sri Lankans and you don't take them into the army, that is indeed racism.
HOw it is possible these both statements BE TRUE simultaneously.
Either EELAM citizens or Sri Lankan citizens, either this or that and not both.
The world considers them as Sri Lankan citizens and hence will have to consider the actions of the GOSL (of excluding Tamils from armed services) as racism.
The day the world recognizes them as citizens of Tamil Eelam, the racism charge against the GOSL will be removed.
Again, I answered your question with a question. You did not reply.
Why Sinhala people are not allowed in the North beyond VAVniya and Sinhala People are NOT ALLOWED TO SETTLE inthe EAst.
Yet Tamil claim their their low percentage in SLA is RACISM

I did answer your question. Let me repeat it: Sinhalese traditionally living in the East of SL will be citizens in Tamil Eelam also. New settlers brought in by the GOSL to alter the ethnic balance should be considered illegal immigrants and processed as such. Where do you see racism in this?
The GOSL is brutalizing Tamil areas to keep them as Sri Lankans but still discriminates against them by not recruiting them in the armed forces. Isn't that racism?

SO, you want to get into the SLDfs. So, you can START Killings from inside.
AnyWay, PEELAMISTS are not there. But, lot of tamil speaking peoPle are there. YOu won't get details. that includes higher up Ranks too.

You seem to have forgotten the good times when TASSLs dominated the forces, police and administration. I have myself experienced discrimination (I was nearly killed due to that)in the hands of a 'Tamil' major... but I have no remorse.
What some SWETs (different from TASSLs)don't want to see is the large numbers of TASSLs who never want to associate themselves with SWETs... and living among other Sri Lankans.
SWETs cannot BY FORCE represent all TASSLs... If GOSL does not select folks ethnically, how can SWETs do that?
So you can keep singing these songs of non-existent 'Tamil' homeland... while TASSLs are privileged to live in every nook and corner of the country... and trying to keep an additional homeland called Peelam to the select few... at the same time.
It just doesn't sound right to me to prevent free movement of all Sri Lankans to N&E parts of the country.
Why not?
