The press is free and the judiciary is independent.
No extrajudicial killings.
Every police firing will be inquired into.
Power is devolved to the regions.
The list is long. Srilanka is light years behind.

I'm not a buddhist and i don't like to get religion involved in these matters :o)
But my opinion is that if a person or persons are causing deadly harm to lots of other lives... in absence of other feasible choice it's ok to take them out and do the world a favor... It's not an easy decision and nothing to be happy about but somebody's got to do it...
It's easy for us to preach about how sacred life is but evil has to be eliminated |
