Think, if you were to be the LEADer, how you are going to solve the terrorist menace
Arrest and charge.
Solve the underlying issues and the menace will disappear.
Because the issues were not solved after 1971 massacre, 1987 happened. So rather than go for periodic blood bath solve legitimate grievances.
Killings will never bring a lasting solution.

Looks like tamil groups are working hard to pass a msg to UN and IC , and using this situation well.
Family members of the disappeared persons, detainees will jointly work together with tamil MPs.
Ms Arbour already knows whats going on in lanka, but looking at the situation from her own eyes will force her to do something.
Good she is from Quebec and understands the problems well than others who visited lanka. |
