is it possible there were no weapons..no shootings and no Sea cadres but these are old ships (which need to be destroyed).SLN takes it shows stage it and reports it..
what do you have to say to that theory!!
Thanks Berty but sadly i'm not a ship expert. A student of sailing and boating cos it's close to my hobby, offshore fishing :o)
On your 'theory'... yes it's possible beyond a shadow of doubt :o) My reasons to not take it seriously would be...
I don't see why SLN have to send out an entire 'battle group' including it's flagship vessel sayura just to sink some rust buckets. containing such a lie in sri lankan context would be impossible. that battle group consists of 100's of sailors :o) Some folks in military have sold out top people in the force to ltte for bit of money and with that kinda people around it'll be impossible to contain a lie of this magnitude :o)
And SLN can gain more propaganda value and have a better containment of a lie if they used only OPV cos one of those is more than enough to take out a real ltte vessel never mind a rust bucket :o)
Further, on previous SLN videos you can see firing from both sides... if you look closely you can see muzzle flashes for the 'ltte ship' and also the SLN fire also hitting the water close to the 'ltte ship' :o)
People believe what they want to believe even when logic says otherwise :o)
So let's all be happy and put and end to these ship debates by saying all these were rust buckets meant to be sent for the scrap yards :o) |

I dont condone any violence. But if a responsible government can get away with such extrajudicial killings it is a reflection of how brutalised the whole society has become. In such a country, when JVP 3 happens (as it will just as night follows day), these killings will be repeated in the South, like was done in 1971 and 1987.
Therefore please do not rejoice over these killings. Try to make the government accountable.

I am curious to find out why his hatred is so focussed towards the Karawas.
I think something must have happened to him back home.....but the funny thing is according to some people this is a very partial and unbalanced forum......but they are keep coming back like weed here just to do their thingamajics......without going away for good!
