Because 'boats' and 'ships' are two different things :o)


A ship is a large, usually decked watercraft. A ship usually has sufficient size to carry its own boats, such as lifeboats, dinghies, or runabouts. A rule of thumb saying (though it doesn't always apply) goes: 'a boat can fit on a ship, but a ship can't fit on a boat.' Often local law and regulation will define the exact size (or the number of masts) which a boat requires to become a ship.

but remember there are Fishing Boats..and Ships to be destroyed (not sea worthy)

Maybe but boats have been getting destroyed for a while now :o)
Ships are the better targets and carries better propaganda value too :o)
best thing is to not believe any of this and call it all propaganda :o) everyone is happy that way, especially the SLN :o)

They have completed the mission with ships and now onto the boats...

All are same...only difference is changing the term conviniently.
