Pera,
Sri Lanka is MUCH better than UK
When a young man was shot by a wrong decision taken under duress and when it was realised,a mistake has been made, the police authorities apologised and compensation to the family was offered, now there is a case going on in the high the court against the officer who shot the wrong person.
This is what is happening in a civilised and democratic United Kingdom.
Can any intelligent person compare UK with the babaric pariah state.
Then, only modayas can do that!

Berty,
By the way in Hong Kong if you say CMB..we think of BUS..CHINA MOTOR BUS!! the worst of the 3 lolz..so they kicked them out lolz
Well in Sri Lanka and every other place which has an airport, frequent flyers (such as myself) refer to BIA/colombo as CMB.
It's the code for BIA. IE COLOMBO LION.
And in reference to the rest of your reply, I don't really care if they're LTTE or not, as long as the LTTE rats are annihilated, the rest of us can live happily in CMB and the rest of Sri Lanka.

Hey Berty,
How are you buddy? Hope things are alright down there in HK.
Indeed HILARIOUS.Which one..u decide!! Lolz
I suggest Mahinda to make velu minister of Tamil and Hindu affairs and provide a bumper salary and then EElam is also a thing of the past. We will have something else to talk about in LNP or else MrB will have to shut his LNP :)

Hi all, this is my first post but have been reading this forum for quite some time. Interesting spectrum of opinions.
I know many instances, where people's lives have been turned upside down due to incarceration based on unfound reasons. While the whole world is moving forward, SL by adopting such draconian rules, is slipping back in time. What kind of accountability is there? Where is human rights? Can politicians with brains the size of peanuts, drag a beautiful country to such low extremes?
Forget differences. All SRI LANKAN nationals have rights and these have to be upheld by all parties.
The International community is playing a game of duplicity. By this commissioner's visit, is something good to happen? NO. It is going to be another visit and another report stashed away carefully, with a tick against some clause in order to meet some requirements.
The attitudes of Sri Lankans have to change. Respect each other, their religions, the languages and their differences to achieve something that our neighbours have done, purely by harnessing the differences in the different people. |
