Nirupam,
Thinking,

Are you saying before this particular incident there were no attacks on civillians or SLA in Jaffna?

I am not here to formulate theories, you must check the police reports before making imaginative statements.

In your above Qn are you referring to the events before MR's election victory in Nov 2005?

First accuse me of making imaginative statements and then ask about what I was talking about? :D wonderful!

As far as police reports go there was no civilian killings by SLA/EPDP or SLA by LTTE.

Oh so LTTE was waiting for a killing to start retaliation was it? now they must have been hurling grenades at SLA just trying to scare off SLA but had no intention of Killing I guess? BTW other than suspisons or accusations was there any proof that SLA had anything to do with those 2 killings??

http://www.tamilnet.com/art.html?catid=13&artid=16448

Villagers living close to the shop alleged that the kiillngs were carried out by intelligence operatives working with the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) and said they heard the a sound of speeding three-wheeler after the gun shots were heard.

This is about the so called first kill by SLA after Nov 2005. So by the sound of the speeding 3-wheeler villagers managed to identify killers eh? Amazing!!

During CBK's time 2 barbers were shot dead in a barber shop in Inuvil, Jaffna by soldiers but attributed to the 'accidental triggering by the gun itself' and in retaliation the police SSP was killed.

right, and in 1983 , 13 Soldiers were killed by LTTE and several hundered Tamil civillians were killed by the Sinhala mobs/thugs in retaliation! I'm sure you will support the retaliation, am I right??

Reports further reaffirmed that several LTTE leaders were in attendance at the occasion.

yes...you could start a business in Sri Lanka.

Giving a Tamil name to a dead body and the MOD could give the body a suitable Rank.

How about that?
