DuminDak:
There is a shortage of skilled people in the global market, IT, Health care, Finance industries where these art graduates can be easily trained and absorbed.
More than the finance, there is HUGH DEMAND FOR BOTH THE MALE AND FEMALE NURSES IN NORTH AMERICA.
GOSL, expand the Nursing School and give them specialized training to fit specific needs.
Give them extra training, so everybody will hire them. |

Countries like Phillipine, Vietnam has found ways to develop youth for the global market. Many rural youth in Sri Lanka do not get any advise about career planning. The schools in Sri Lanka must hold career planning workshops to guide the youth to the areas where they can develop to find local and foreign jobs.
Even Sri Lankan universities do not have career counciling centers that are common in US campuses. If proper career counciling is there the unrests in the campuses probably do not happen as everyone is busy with building their careers!
Unless the kids have blessed parents, they do not get good career advise from young age. These youths, found the difficult world only after they got out of university.
Now they are too old for any change of career path. Only way out is to keep supporting stupid politicians like JVP and keep menacing the whole country... what a shame!

EElamay, Good boy.
Now you are talking for SL, that s a good move and welcome. You seems to anylize many things about SL.
You had better try the next election for a MP post, so you can cotrol lager part, instead trying to control two districts( Wanni, Mulathiv ) . |

Pal, I am not against Sri Lanka, my views on a Tamil perspective is only for all of us to live in that country peacefully and with dignity.
I pass your suggestion on becoming an MP. But, your idea of expanding the control by a Tamil beyond Vanni is quite intriguing, but only if Sinhal politicians are willing to listen to Tamils. I hope it happens one day, though chance looks extremely slim at this moment!

To enter Global market either you should be well qualified or should be a refugee.
The easiest way is to be refugee.
Especially a Tamil refugee.

| This is usual Mahinda Chinthana in action, in fact mild by north and east stnadards but check out that dude in the top left of the image trying to put a line to one of the coeds in the midst of the gas and cannon attack. This is just a picnic for our fellows. |
