Absolutely 100% correct. The whole world knows the GoSL and its actions. GoSL can do anything to block inspectors, observers, envoys and any foreign diplomats it only make it look bad for Mahinder and gang. |

Yeah......which paid money ( rigged) to the LTTE to get elected. ( Election froud). Not to mention working behind the scene with the enemy for its own financial gains, working with para military who was LTTE strongman not too long ago, and who knows what else.............
This a democratically elected government ? I think not.
Most people in Sorry Lanka know it for a fact but there are some moronic punnakku eating boot licking brain dead GoSL supporters who actually believe that the Govnt. of MR is genuine. God have mercy on their souls.

The war on terrorism in Sri Lanka can be won only after isolating the key supporters of the Tamil Tigers in the diaspora and Government winning over them to the side of peace.?
He explained that the Sri Lankan Diaspora is different from the maids and other workers in the Middle East and other Asian countries. The diaspora consists of the more affluent class of migrant settlers in the West. Nearly a million of them live in all the European countries, North America and in the Australia, he said.
This in excellent idea that should go to the drawing board immediately.
It's time we make a distinction here. Sri Lankan Diaspora is nothing to do with STUPID WE TAMIL (SWET) Diaspora.
Sri Lankan Diaspora looks forward to see a developed, progressive Sri Lanka where everyone lives as a Sri Lankan.
SWET Diaspora is a group of criminal INVESTORS in the LOOTING TAMIL TERRORIST INCORPORATED (LTTE INC.)
We must unleash all our resources including loads of DDT to eliminate SWET Diaspora... who are planning to a) destroy our economy b) bomb us to pieces c) rob us.
I highly recommend His Excellency Colonel Karuna be appointed as the chief minister in this new ministry to take care of these SWET parasites...
He is a national asset... when fighting the LTTE terrorist dogs.

This is a very good development. Acts like this, on one hand, reminds IC that we are a nation with a backbone. In the same time, it also reminds those Sri Lanknas suffering from inferiority complex that they too have that thing called spinal code.
Devil is not as dark as we think. If Rajapakse Government manages to play their diplomacy well, we will definitely get through this.

I appreciate your understanding of the differences in economic performance and inter-racial relationships between India and Sri Lanka when you used the tem 'below' and not 'South of'.
You may also know that when the languange issue started dominating post-Indian politics Nehru was quick to devolve power to the states and set up (Quasi) Federal system in 1956 whereas Sri Lankan Opposition Parties and Sinhala Buddhist monks went on anti-Tamil marches to prevent Regional Councils in 1958 or District Councils in 1965 being introduced, the outcome of it is the pogroms and destruction. We elect short sighted selfish leaders whereas our neighbours statesmen with long term visions. |

Last time I checked, in the final report of the international election monitoring committee for the last presidential election reported that will of the Srilankan people prevailed. I will take it's word over any terror group and their sympathizers. |
