at the same area last week where they said residents spoke of ammbulances and helicopters taking dead and wounded soldiers the gosl issued threats to iqbal athas.

This statement confirms few things.
Firstly, GOSL seems to recognize Eelam as people and high dignitary need 'visa' to visit North-East of Sri Lanka.
Secondly, this confirms GOSL fears about the UDI.
Thirdly, this confirms GOSL volonty to be the 'sole' represent of Sri Lankans.
And finally, this confirms GOSL volonty to HIDE TRUTH !
GOSL does not represent democracy, it represents everything that is undemocratic and racist.
More rapidly LTTE declares UDI more rapidly the national problem will be solved into a simple equation.
GOSL act like a immature baby. War is the only intention of the Sinhala Army, Sinhala majority who comapare Mahinda Raja to the King Dutugemunu. Don't put the fault on LTTE, we all know that Colombo is the ATTACKER !

I agree with you 100%..Regarding Marvan..I read the full story..Mahela wanted the board to have a chat and marvan has confirmed he did get an e-mail for a meeting but he had clearly said as long as Asantha De mel is there he is not interested..
I think he is HURT the way they got him out after serving the country so well..
regarding the next layer of upcoming cricketers..we do have a severe problem..I did mention about it today when we had a Chat about SL cricket..in a way good that we lost the 2nd One dayer..it will be an eye opener..
