If it is the LTTE National Leader, if criticised, shoot at the forehead. See the extremes.

Point my shortcomings, mistakes - President
RAKWANA: President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday paid a surprise visit to the Aslam Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in Rakwana en route to Colombo from Galle, where he attended the Sri Lanka Development Forum.

Speaking to students, teachers and villagers who gathered there to greet him, President Rajapaksa said the public was free to point out his shortcomings and mistakes, rather than glorifying him.

He disclosed that he was planning to make more such unscheduled visits to various areas to listen to the people and see for himself the shortcomings.

When the President queried from the villagers about the cost of living, they agreed that although there is an increase in prices of some goods, the Government?s drive to protect the nation from terrorism and achieve accelerated development must be commended.

He inspected the school buildings and facilities and instructed Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council officials to rectify any shortcomings. He also visited the Viharaya adjoining the school and participated in religious observances. He urged the Chief Incumbent to forward plans for the renovation of the Viharaya without delay.

Agriculture Minister Maithripala Sirisena was quoted in the local media as saying that such a large cabinet team would be costly to the government.

'There is no way that one can reject the fact that such a large number of ministers would be a burden on the economy,' he said.

The Sri Lankan cabinet of 53 members for a population of 19.5m people compares with around 23 members in the UK cabinet for a population of 60m people and around 21 people in George Bush's cabinet.

The government's former ally, the Marxist JVP, or the People's Liberation Front, has criticised the 'huge cabinet' which it says is far too large.

It said that the jumbo cabinet had made Sri Lanka the laughing stock of the world.

When we born we have to die. If we die for a purpose that is worth.

I like the way GOSL presents, at least the journalist, it.

CFA was how LTTE abused so many innocent civilians for their nearsighted goals.

LTTE plundered the Tamil people of sri lanka of their leaders and wealth, made them refugees in north and south.

but what has LTTE done for the Tamil people?

do that build hospitals, give scholarships, or do they help any orphans.......do they feed the people.

LTTE deprives every right of Tamils and keeps the population in the North hostage without food.

How can an organisation that so does not care for its own people find any reason to talk peace sincerely ?

Once again implimenting CFA is not a one way process. LTTE was the first to violate CFA. LTTE must take more than 90% respnsibilty for the collapse of CFA.

For LTTE, CFA was one way ticket to EELAM. when CBK wanted to disucss ISGA and other political reforms, LTTE wanted to discuss only the ISGA.

That is not politics, that is little children playing games. Stupid LTTE morons can not understand it. That dumb.
