I looked at the picture, I never said ONLY Tamils are sufferning, BUT Tamils have been and are suffering more than the Sinhalese.
Are there 500,000 homeless Sinhalese in the island? The people in your photo have a house, no matter how humble, how many Tamils are living under trees?
Again those Sinhalese in your photos, have a humble home, but they have no fear of it being bombed by their 'own' air force?
So no things are not the same for Tamils and Sinhalese. |

No argue there,
I was answering to your first question, the things in south at that time period (1948-1972) were the same and Sri Lanka had very nasty two almost revolutions due to this unevenness, and government forcefully reprehended the movements.
My point is that we are moving towards the right direction... well I am not going to bored you any more.

Again I agree, one cannot say the south was paradise either, but your politicians of the time, tried to 'solve' the problems of the south by blaming the Tamils, they created this ethnic hatred, they gave the south something else to thing about and hate, other than the politicians who were doing nothing for them.
So if we are moving to something better then I hope so, but so far the politicians in power seem no different to those that created the problem in the first place. |
