Good news for Mahinda'Modaya'backers..
Very soon everybody will realize,the cost of holding the Tigers tail..
To divert the people from the cost of living burden,GOSL with 51 ministers,bringing the country in a big mess..
When GOSL realize his foolish mistakes,it will be too late for the people to survive..
Finally,Mahinda'Aya will feed the currency notes,for the people to eat..
It is not too far..

Inflation in UK was 3% and we were shocked about it being high. interest rates were put up by the bank of england which was a nightmare
but 20.5% in sri lanka - how come interest rates there dont change |

That tells it all. Btw, I was waiting for the non-citizen's response. I didn't have to wait too long.
When all your country can do is beg from non-citzens, expect us to pipe in too, after all its our tax money you beggars are living off of.
anyhow even this mindboggling inflation figure is understated by some creative statitics, it is far higher. VP is laughing as he waits for the false state to implode ;)

| Reason for this galloping inflation is the state mismanaging it's expenditure with high salary increases in the government sector and other extravagances of the government,perhaps this jumbo,ridiculous cabinet is the tip of the iceberg of the state machinery.They don't give a fighting chance for the private sector to function on their day to day running,thus the private sector is forced to meet their expenses with increase prices to the over burdened customer.Each time this over crowded cabinet ministers burst out to towns and cities and flights of fantasy abroad,thus increasing the burdens of the tax paying public and businesses,with security restrictions etc.This result in massive inflation,simple as that.You don't get this in developed countries and we have to adopt their culture to survive. |

These are all capitalist measuers. We don't care all those idicators put forward by global economy undermine developing countries. We recently read a news item that Sri Lanka moving soon to a middle income country.
Apart from all these we are now embarcing new economic super powers, India and China. President going to China next month. He now worries about India and China. Those who like these Western economic indicators can stuff them in their ..... |

Don't worry about Punakku Chintana now from next month on wards our greatest economist of all time, Minister Bandula will look after the economy.
GL will solve all the political problems.
