Individual wrong-doers are punished every where more so in Singapore. There are Sinhalese, Muslims and Tamils of Sri Lanka who rush to work in S'pore. I saw many SL maids in the houses and flats that I visited.
In Sri Lanka entire Tamil speaking community is condemned by Sinhala ONLY. Recently 'divide and rule' policy gave temporary reprieve to Muslims and lately to Eastern Tamils to isolate Tamils of Jaffna. Sinhalese elitists learnt this dirty trick from our past colonial masters. THe new colonial masters are making a mess of everything by making their duplicity publicised by making MOUs and agreements only to annul them before the ink dries on those documents.
Nowhere in other countries a particular language is the ONLY Official Language. |

Prabakaran couldn't get the Eelam from those fools for the last 30 years..!
The democratic leaders including much-loved Ananthasangaree could not get either the Regional Council or District Councils from the Sinhala leaders.
At least Prabakaran forced the SL leaders to pass Tamil Official Language Act in the parliament though the stubborn no-good-for Governments failed to implement it over the last 18 years. The democratic minority leaders could not make the Sinhala leaders do even this during the 30 years of their struggle. |

We , Sinhala Talibans will not give even an inch of land to anybody, just swim back to Tamil Nadu, it is only 18 km.

May be!! But I like to percentages?I think Singapore has low percentage of TAMILS, So they used (I don?t know) Official language as TAMIL. But here situation is completely difference. TAMIL community is 7% , MUSLIM is 6%. So others are Sinhalese and population dissemination is also varied. In North Tamils is larger community. In East MUSLIMS are larger.
Other areas Sinhalese are majority. So we can't decide one official language and no such official language want for SL))
