Mixed verdict on Sri Lanka aid

Sri Lanka says it's been promised four-and-a-half billion dollars at the final aid review conference held in Galle.
Foreign donors have said any money would depend on efforts towards peace with the Tamil Tigers.

The Investment Promotion Minister, Sarath Amunugama, said donors at the conference had expressed satisfaction at Sri Lanka's economic record and had pledged to back projects like roads, ports and power plants over the next three years.

However, a senior World Bank officials, Praful Patel, said Sri Lanka must push for a dialogue to settle the conflict.

Another participant at the conference, who declined to be named, said no-one had pledged anything.

Tamilcanuck:

you mightve missed the boat but better try something your age!

better late than never!

This is how the FAKe Tamil FREEDOM strgugle began, exactly the same way. Created things that did not exist. Now for the advantage of Coolie diaspora and those diaspora who were low castes and suffered because of caste discrimination need their own land at the expense of sinhala people and their centuries old hospitality.

Pharoah,
Masters in CS. I have some good sinhala friends here but they're not the unemployed toilet-cleaners like you see in this forum :)

Ado Madayan, even with standardization you would have passed exams in Sri Lanka only when tamil invigilators helped you to change the exam papers.

Passing out from community college or from the night school is big deal from you.

Just one day in the forum you showed what low class you are.

In sri Lanka your only acheivement will be to die like a dog in some jungle while holding on to the T - 56.
