LTTE has the luxury of holding land or not. What GOSL has got is real estate it has not made a dent on its resources that is difficult to replenish,

So don't open the champaign as yet. I think we are back to the late 70's guerrilla warfare. Hit and run tat tic will be a better option specially with the Karuna factor.

Pera,
In a war reverses and setbacks and are norm.It is true that there is a setback in the East, which was not unexpected,as it is their weakest link.LTTE faced a huge setback in Vanni in the ninties. But they came out of it even stronger afterwards. You must remember that ,there is still substantial teritory in the East, particularly in Batti, under the control of the Tigers, including their main Command Centre and Head Quarters.
Tigers were in more precarious situation, almost facing anihilation, during the IPKF days.
One of the beauty of the Tigers is that they function more efficiently in a difficult situation.
So,there is going to be a hard time ahead for the cowrds.

Tigers crouch to pounce!
Remember you cowards!!

Yes of course... repeat this line when you go to bed and when you wake up so you feel good about supporting a loosing side. How come anyone related to you is not joining up? What about you? Put your money where your mouth is and defend the Republic. Bring your friends too.
