but your list may be SL Coolie's.

I could not find the captured artillary guns in any website including www.defence.lk. Only the photos of their own gun T-56 in all websites.

If this story is true, one can interpret that LTTE has plenty of artillary guns in Vanni.

LTTE had increased their share to 100 122mm/152mm arty guns. That is a lot!!

does not include 120mm motars -5 mile range killers.

LTTE now planning large scale attack, everything military target is legit.

airport(s), VIPs, isolated base camps!! and Navy positions in trinco and mannar are part of this.

LTTE uses diversion and bribes to get the information please be aware.

Tamils flee Thoppigala in fear of being used as a shield


This is happening for the first time.Where ever tigers go to hide, Tamil civilians are escaping from them.This is the best help civilians can do for the Army to annihilate terrorists.

Tamil civilians are running towards the Army for the safety from tigers.

Stopterror ... your information is inaccurate

The LTTE has about:

25 - 122mm artillery
70 - 120mm Heavy Mortar
3 or 4 - 152mm artillery
3 or 4 - 130mm artillery

So far they have lost:

6 - 122mm artillery
2 - 152mm artillery
2 - 130mm artillery
and unknown number of 120mm mortar..

The SL army has the following:

74 - 122mm artillery
55 - 120mm Heavy Mortar
40 - 152mm artillery
40 - 130mm artillery

the 100 or so artillery assets the Army Commander was referring to was 120mm Heavy Mortar + 122mm Artillery
