This isn't some movie mate, there are going to be ups and downs, but in the long run we shall see won't we ;) I call what I see at the time, and your sub african standard military failed to dislodge a handfull of LTTE on at least 3 attempts, what exactly are you hooting about? That you finally did it on the fourth one LOL, pathetic.
Thus does amuse one a lot :)

But the SLN retaliated and sunk over 20 ... was what they were going to print but those wrascally sea tigers only came in two, too bad ;) |

Hey pharoah, you were talking about Manal Aru (colonized and renamed Weli Oya) seems the LTTE is doing something over there, been a few probes into the area and probably attempts to setup claymores:
The LTTE terrorists fired at security forces while conducting patrol duty in Vavuniya yesterday, Wednesday the 24th of January.
The incident occurred between Janakapura and Kokkutuduvai in Welioya at 12.50 p.m.
In subsequent search operation, troops recovered a body of a slain female LTTE cadre.
A T-81 magazine, 30 live rounds, 15 meters of detonator cord, a hand grenade, a cyanide capsule and an electronic detonator were also received along with the body.
Meanwhile, security sources said that the LTTE terrorists fired at the troops at Janakapura area at 5.50 p.m. yesterday. A soldier on duty was killed due to the incident.

Hmm... then what about the Jaffna situation in 70-80's? Where are the sinhalese and Muslims who were in Jaffna in that period? |
