[ livera] until and unless sla can quell all ltte resistance in east there will be no action in north by
sla]
reason after the hammering they took from ltte in the north .sla has only defensive capabilities in the north
until troops from east can be brought into north.

this will also not be possible since only be brought by sea or air.BY sea sea tigers will be hunting them down and by
air these large planes will be easy targets for shoulder held missisles.

CFA that was in existence on paper will die a natural death
midnight of 22 nd feb 2007 /its end is going to give ltte
many options.

[that is the reason jhu wants gosl to withdraw from it now ].
[many opinions been given by all sides/hard line talk from

mahinda and co including sla that there can be a military
solution against ltte,[i personally think that very soon

mahinda will be eating larce slices of humble pie ]

Tamils flee Thoppigala in fear of being used as a shield

Tamil people who were living in east of Walachchenai and Thoppigala areas have started to flee to government controlled areas, as LTTE cadres have fled to the area due to army gaining controlled of Vakarai, and fearing that they would be held as a human shield by the LTTE, if the security forces launch an attack.

Everyone seems to be saying that Vakarai battle was a cakewalk to SLDF since it was supposedly won over without a fight...
wonder why tamilnut went silent over the issue when the battle was going on...why SLDF faced stiff resistance attempting to crossover the pannichchakarni bridge...why all those burnt bikes, double cabs, etc etc and even 152mm arti guns left behind... Todays local papers carried pics of one of those arti guns that appeared to be in great shape...
i'm sure that ltte wouldn't want to run leaving behind such valuable equipment...
end of the day...they suffered a major setback after a very long time... It's unfair to take away the due credit from all those brave SLDF boys who went over to enemy territory and and kicked asz! :)
There were pics of army infantrymen today on papers...really battle hardened tough fellows...no wonder tigers are running away leaving their stuff behind :)

[ one time or another sla intelligence will come up with
thesestories

1] colonel soosai about to leave tigers

2] colonel ramesh joining karuna

3] colonel bhanu dead in karuna attack

instead of coming up with these stories they could tell
sinhala south the exact number of sla dead[more than 3500]
so far .
