Two things has to happen for this carnage to stop.

1. Govt must propose a solution and agenda for the peace talks.
1. LTTE must come to peace talks for a negotiated compromised solution.

See how LTTE treat their own youths.
Tamilnet is still vomiting punnakku.

A letter found in a pocket of a killed LTTE terrorist provided enough substantive evidence of abductions perpetrated by the terrorist outfit, in the tensed North and East areas.
The relatives confirmed the identity of the LTTE cadre and said, he was abducted by the LTTE in November last year. Despite continuous death threats from the LTTE associates, they managed to logged a complaint at the Kalavanchchikudi Police, on the abduction.
A personal appeal in the letter found revealed an alarming story of the LTTEs' conspiracy perpetrated against youth in the North and East. The letter further revealed that he has been given military training by the LTTE and that his life was in danger. It is believed that the youth was captured and held prisoner in an LTTE 'torture chamber', while attempting to flee the terrorist organization.

1. Govt must propose a solution and agenda for the peace talks. It should be published and should have a proper agenda to make it happen.

2. LTTE should come to peace talks depending on the propsal and LTTE can submit any amendments to the proposals.

3. If LTTE refuses to enter into peace talks, GOSL has nothing more than finishing the LTTE terrorism by anyway they can.

You are wrong in this case.
Arrogant yougsters initiated the astrocities. Diaspora supported. Government informed any decision with unitory state. Is it reasobale to ask from government to give a solution?
Why big diaspora don't come up with something?

1. Increase the number of Kfirs.
2. Freeze all assets belonging to eelamists.
3. Sterilize all eelamists.

Dewey, you are right. Govt. have to get its act together and put forward a solution. This is a must. And LTTE have to genuinely agree for talks and negotiate for a political settlement.
The LTTE has had time to try terrorism and they have failed. For 25 years of assassination, extortion, terrorism and violence, the LTTE has not won anything worth having. They have destroyed generations of Tamil youth and children, and brought misery to the North and East. They must work with the govt for a reasonable political settlement and submit their ideas to the govt as well. The LTTE cannot win this war.
