Definitely a small setback but hey knowing when to retreat is also key in warfare. Ltte has done this in the past 95(from jaffna) 97 (A9). cutting your losses to fight another day is key.
Yes TCK, once again the LTTE escapes with all its big guns and most of its troops intact and the SLA has one more area where they have to deploy hundreds of troops.
It is becoming like the 'vanni' of the east, and the end results are going to be the same ;)

stretching them thin and coming back is okay but the ordinary civilians are also taking a big hit.
i have no doubt the LTTE has an answer but lets hope its also delivered in a timely manner. |
