I hate to see our country's situation right now!
Almost all the citizens are suffering everyday because of the current economy.
just for info , 1Kg Carrot is Rs 400.00 in colombo.

Is that why you support LTTE? Do they fight to lower the price of carrot in colombo?

Yes, but in a conflict and critical situation it means. Tamils are victimised for genocide. Evn 51% can lead to sole reprecentaive nature.

Okay, that is complete Bull crap. Guy who tried to teach be ABC of democracy telling me this now? Oh well.. I give up.

Amir acepted sothern cheats later, Karuna had arelationship with southern leaders befor split!

Her comes more BS. You are an extremist who think anyone who doesnt follow your ideology is an enemy. Dude, even if they oppose you ideologically, that doesn't give you a license to kill. Humans don't operate that way.

LTTE readjusts its positions in the east

guys this is LTTE readjusted not SLA , not like SLA READJUSTING , fact the readjusting from SLA mean a different thing .

On 19 January 2007, LTTE decided to pull back from its Pannichchankerni position which is on the access route to Vaharai.

People in Vaharai, residents and the displaced, have endured more than six months of denial of humanitarian access. Since October only once a small quantity of food and medicine was allowed into Vaharai.

People have been forced to run around from place to place to avoid indiscriminate artillery shelling by the Sri Lankan military since October. Ninety three civilians including several children were killed in November and December in three schools, Kathiraveli, Patchenai, and Vammivedduvan, converted into refugee camps. Many more were severely injured. Just a few days ago three people were killed inside the Vaharai hospital complex where people had taken refuge. Repeated call by humanitarian agencies to spare the civilians produced no tangible result. International community watched while the carnage went on, except for occasional press statement.

Sri Lankan military used Pannichchankerni LTTE positions as an excuse to block humanitarian access to Vaharai people.

Amparai situation

Today at 10.45am, LTTE attacked occupying Sri Lankan military in Amparai. The LTTE attack took place 5 Kms from the Bakkimiddiya village. Eleven Sri Lankan troops were killed in the attack. LTTE suffered no losses.

Similar attacks are continuing for the last one week by the LTTE on the occupying Sri Lankan military.

Paramilitary attempting to infiltrate killed

Two paramilitary members were killed by the LTTE in Thihiliveddai in Batticaloa while they tried to infiltrate into LTTE areas.

LOL.. let the Yaks celebrate, it's their time now ;)

As for the LTTE, they may have lost Vaharai but they managed to minimize their personnel losses to a minimum. This battle may have been lost, but there are many others still remaining to be fought.

And also remember, the LTTE have so far been fighting your war, a defensive war. Once the army tires itself out and exhausts its energy and resources from continuous offensives, the LTTE will start their games.

Never can the LTTE be defeated by the SLA.. These are not my words, but the words of every military analyst in the world!!

Thambi,
LTTE decided to pull back from its Pannichchankerni position which is on the access route to Vaharai.

I thought it was going to be a strategic withdrawal, but LTTE out smarted them all and 'decided to pull back'!

pull back from its Pannichchankerni position which is on the access route to Vaharai.

So SLA can go to Vaharai without any problem I suppose, how good these tigers can be!

@ Kiwi,
Achilles,

I am confused. Shouldn't the population have remained to welcome the liberating forces who would have brought along the badly needed food and medicines which the murderous Tigers were depriving these innocent people?

You are damn right to ask this question, I have witnessed refugees going away/running away from the advancing SL forces. There are two sides to the coin, there are certain PPL who run away with the tigers, but there are alot of others who run away because they are threatened. You could deny this but this is a fact. Believe it or leave it as it is.

aligned with GOSL = aligned with SLDF = killing tamils = qualified to be killed by LTTE

Uma Maheshwaran, Sabaratnam and many other leaders of other armed groups aligned with SLDF? First time I ever heard that. LOL. You are funny.

Only one who aligned with SLDF is Karuna, that too was after the split.

Did Dr. Rajini Thiranagam align with SLDF? She helped LTTE immensly but didnt agree with their ruthless military outfit.

Did Dr. Neelan Thiruchelvan kill tamils? Please don't tarnish their good names.

I have a question to everybody in this forum.

How should we make these LTTE terrorist supporters realize that they were fooled by the terrorists?

Jiki,
aligned with GOSL = aligned with SLDF = killing tamils = qualified to be killed by LTTE

Does that logic(replacing LTTE with SLDF, GoSL/SLDF with LTTE and Tamil with Sinhalese) apply to tamil civilians who align with LTTE too? Say.. people like TNA MPs?
