NZ airport snubs intimacyy Hawkins billboard

The creators of a naughty advertisement featuring Jennifer Hawkins say they`re `bemused` by a New Zealand airport`s decision to ban their campaign.
Auckland International Airport has decided to banish the Lovable lingerie ad, in which scantily clad Hawko cavorts with a plush rhino next to the words `feeling horny?`
Lovable divisional manager Dianne Taylor said she always thought the campaign `was pushing at the boundaries a little bit`.
`But we`re a little bit bemused that it`s only happened in New Zealand and not Australia,` Ms Taylor said.
`We certainly weren`t expecting the controversy in New Zealand. But it`s obviously within the airport authority`s jurisdiction and I guess it`s their prerogative.`
The racy ads launched in Melbourne on Monday and will hit Sydney billboards from next week.
Ms Taylor said she was expecting some complaints from the public, but defended the company`s right to run cheeky ads.
`We think there`s a place for a tongue-in-cheek campaign and we think this one is fairly mild,` she said.
Auckland airport officials meanwhile denied they lacked a sense of humour.
`The bottom line is the airport has a vast array of people of different nationalities, different ages, and our view was that it was just not in keeping with general airport image and brand,` the airport`s general manager retail Nick Forbes told NZPA.
But Forbes, an Australian, felt it was unfair to say airport management lacked a sense of humour.
`If you straw-polled most of the people around our office they just had a good laugh and think it`s great,` he said.
`On a personal level I don`t really have an issue and not many people probably do but we`ve got to try and be sensitive.`
Forbes said the airport had billboards in the past that some found inappropriate and wanted to tread carefully.
The airport had declined `very little` advertising.
`That one was maybe just one step too far.`
The lingerie billboard is not the first airport billboard in New Zealand to raise eyebrows.
In December, the Advertising Standards Complaints Board upheld a complaint about a Christchurch billboard for cars which showed a late-model car beside a partial image of a `long legged woman in a brief pair of shorts` who appeared to be hitching a ride.
The heading of the billboard read, `Drive Bling Bling, Get Bang Bang!`

I did read your story..... I am so sorry to hear all those things!!!
But remember you still have your future intact and you should feel lucky for that.....finding someone wont be a problem for you at all....

Its not just finding a partner...you need to love your partner with your heart( not the same story of berty anna again) otherwise life will be useless. I am still in no mood to get married. Anyway I am very lucky to be alive and need to thank my bro and his friend. My bro too doesnt want to marry and wants to be with me for ever. Only we too are left.....no I cant write any more. Anyway thanks for your advise.

Sometimes relating your experineces to others help out in healing. atleast i hope so. didnt realise so much was behind her until the end. i felt bad, very bad.
yes i agree one cant just marry for the sake of marrying. plus i think trying to compare stuff with the PAST is a BIG no NO and might lead to further complication.
My value added 3 cents adjusted for inflation!

What bloody idiots! Jennifer Hawkins is HOT! Maybe they were afraid of the pilots getting distracted!
