Dewey ayya,
Any news of Pakistani Pilots dropping 'stones' on the heads of eelamists?
Ruwitch dear I said pakistani stones, not pakistani pilots dropping stones, I think they all went home given the inability of your air farce to hit anything of significance.
Maybe you weren't around for that news, but your government spent millions of dollars, earned by the hard work of your Mid east maids, on pakistani duds. Edited By - Revy - 18 Jan 2007 14:53:41 GMT |

Lets put the Sinhalese in Tamils' shoes; do you believe that the Sinhalese would have behaved any differently?
No. The sinhalese (or even a majority section of them) were in the same shoes... although admittedly they did not suffer an 83 type genocide.
lack of educational opportunities, poverty, disillusionment with the political establishment etc. led to a few armed uprisings by the JVP.
The JVP were/are extremists and as they took up an armed struggle, and therefore came a point where they had to be wiped out after they did not respond to any talks etc.
To their credit they have now entered the democratic mainstream and pack a lot of clout, just as the lTTE could have done through legitimate means in the North and East.
The JVP were wrong, as are the LTTE today. They have lost their way and causing more harm than good to any legitimate tamil struggle. |

JaceDMace,
You have forgotten the denial of opportunities the sinhalese faced during 400 years of colonial rule and the preferential treatment the Tamils had. That's why I always say this is payback time.
Jace, If you live in a foreign country and it is invaded by say China, would you support the invaders and expect to get away with once the invaders are gone. If you think you can, you should first check forehead to see if a pair of horns are popping out.
Sri Lanka - Love it or leave it. But if you are an eelamist you should leave it since you options are close to none Edited By - Ruwani - 18 Jan 2007 15:01:46 GMT |

Get over it. The British were to blame for that. Not any single living tamils today.
However if you wish to put it in those simplistic terms. The tamils played the system and made the best of a bad situation - the sinhalese didn't. Tough.
Payback time??? - did you not payback enough in 83. Cretin Edited By - JaceDMace - 18 Jan 2007 15:07:38 GMT |

Revy bro,
SLSF wanna capture Vakarai as soon as possible and already surrounded. They have only two options, fight or surrender ... But, if LTTE wanna protect innocent civilian life, they must let them go.
I think this will not happen, and I see no reason why LTTE should let those civilian to go! and finally many many innocent civilian will die |

No. I wasn't even born then and lost my opportunity. And I demand my rights to another.
Take one hand grenade
Go to Vakarai
Place aforementioned grenade in big mouth
Pull pin

Ha ha...nice try. But this doesn't earn me a new TV set or some nice jewelery. |
