Year 2001, a local EPDP member was shot by a panicking SLA in the dark, and the local people knew that it was a panic measure by the SLA.
The EPDP member was well known to the local area army.
When relatives went to collect the body, SLA insisted that the relatives had to sign the documents saying that their son was a LTTE member and SLA refused release the body.
Then the order came from the Palaly commander after some influence, to release the body.
This is the true figure of the SL defence. |

in east ltte bases are in thoppigala ,vaharai ,and trico
in amparai ltte have moved their bases in kanchikudichan aru more to the interior .
sla got a beating at vaharai according to most military
sources /voice of america .
please know your geography about the east/sla is bogged down
in the east . |

According to the Jaffna branch of the human rights commission ten children (under-18) are among the 40 civilians who have sought protection from the human rights commission. These civilians have been produced before the courts and have been placed in prison for their own safety says the Jaffna branch of the human rights commission. Citizens seeking safety in prison from death squads operating freely in society is a unique phenomenon that indicates the current context in Jaffna. Although the human rights commission will not state it, because it is part of the GoSL, it is crystal clear to the people of Jaffna that the perpetrators are the Sri Lankan military. Further elucidating this phenomenon are some recent events in Jaffna.

tamils never harm sinhala children
why dont you lot try and prevent european travellers from exploiting the sinhala child prostitutes in the south
