'We want to go home,' was the quick reply to a question raised by the media from five young boys aged between 16 and 20 dressed in plain black T-shirts and shorts. They were presented at the weekly defence news briefing in Colombo yesterday.
The young boys, all residents of Tirukkovil, Ampara, were allegedly abducted by the LTTE during last year and held at the rebel camps in Ampara. According to one youth there were some 70 child soldiers undergoing training at the camp at the time the five boys were abducted out of whom 20 managed to flee.
'We never joined. We were abducted.

This shows that the majority of the Tamils specially in the East of the Country seem to have got fed up with all the 'jargon' perpetrated by the so called 'saviors' of the Tamils. The Children ought to have an education even to
read and write. I do hope the rest of the kids too would come to their senses. |

Do you really think that those boys who are at the mercy of the STF would say anything other than what they were told to say?
That does not mean LTTE does not abduct children, but, making conclusions based on utterances in the press conference organized to prove a point by the MoD is foolish and immature.

The sinhala savages occupying Jaffna have killed another tamil christian priest.
They apparently removed his bible and other identification documents and planted a grenade in his satchel.
These savages must be annihilated from the tamil soil forthwith. Their atrocities against tamil civilians have to be ended and ended without delay. They are not humans but animals. |

Yes,..government in any country is not 100% good, thats the reason governments are changing..this change occurs when people forget what the previous government did.
Specially, in developing countries, governments are doing very poor, just because of people in the high places are trying to control the limited amount of resources and opportunities.
MR is now the MAN, but now we can see he too doing very questionable decisions.
Me too, I dont say GOSL is 100 correct. But, under the present world conditions, democratic government has powers. |
