Why can't the yaks ever grow a brain?

If the LTTE did have 'child soldiers', don't you think they would've been moved out a long time ago when the army offensive began. LOL.. it's not like the SLA started the offensive yesterday and tood over the camp today.. they've been trying for weeks, which gives more than enough time for the LTTE to rig the place and move out!

And moreover whenever the army moves on to take a tiger camp, they bomb the camp and as well as surrounding villages to the ground. If these kids were in the Camp there's no way they could've survived.

To actually believe this story and even carry out a debate over it is just laughable. It's like kids arguing over their favourite 'super heros'. Grow up people!

I have already said i would condemn any use of children in combat. Not just LTTE but GOSL too if they did it. Which is why I eagerly await Mr Rock's evidence.

Now all are waiting for Rock's evidence... but can Rock make good and credible evidences.

No He can't, therefor he is silent and keep his mouth shout.

The comment Alan Rock made was given by Pro LTTE personals in Sri Lanka and even Rock is a LTTE supporter too.

So there is no point of asking more evidences.

Yogi surfaces

The onetime LTTE strongman Yogaratnam Yogi is again in the limelight after a lapse of about sixteen years.

Yogi, who was removed in the early nineties from the ranks of the organization, but not hunted down as in the case of many other ex-LTTE leaders, was reported later to be coaching cricket at Jaffna Central College.

He was seen for the first time at an LTTE platform on Tuesday, when the organization held a meeting to commemorate the onetime LTTE Jaffna leader and later LTTE international secretariat head in London, Sathasivam Krishnakumar alias Kittu.

Kittu, with nine others blew up the boat in which they were sailing towards Sri Lanka, when Indian Navy vessels intercepted it and forced it to enter into Chennai harbour when the boat was sailing close to India?s shores on January 16, 1993.

Yogi, as the new leader of the LTTE?s ?history wing? was seen delivering a speech at the Kittu commemoration meeting held at the premises of the Voice of Tigers in Kilinochchi.

Interesting article in the Lakbima paper (http://www.lakbima.lk/)

* Go to web - http://www.lakbima.lk,
* Select 'Puwath' (News) link in the left navigation.
* Go to 4th article.

This is how LTTE effectively use their women carders for (intimacy) freedom struggle.

Battle-torn Jaffna gets back to barter

By N Parameswaran

People in Jaffna have gone back to the barter business which was in vogue in the 15th century.

After the A-9 land route was closed essentials including milk powder are distributed through the co-operative societies. Some people now tend to exchange some of the items they buy with other essential items they need.

One person buys baby milk powder but he really needs full cream milk powder, while another person who has bought full cream milk powder

needs milk powder for his baby. Both exchange their packets of milk powder.

In another case one person gets malted, but he needs full cream milk so he barters his purchase with one who has bought full cream milk but does not need it because his doctor had advised him to drink malted milk as he is suffering from chikungunya.

This kind of business is going on in Jaffna daily.

Some advertisements published in Jaffna newspapers portray a reverse trend compared to that of those published few months ago. After the ceasefire agreement was signed, people advertised in Jaffna newspapers wanting houses within the municipal limits, whereas now most of the advertisements are for houses to be given on rent.

Soon after the CFA was signed residents of Jaffna who had settled down in Colombo returned to their homes but now they are seen in queues registering to leave Jaffna. - DailyMirror

Kith9,

You and others that amount to more than 90% talk about what LTTE does. Do you want all the forum members talk about the same thing? There are atrocities on both sides. After all SLA atrocities have lasted 50 years and LTTE that was founded to challenge SLA for 25 years. So why not talk about the terrorisms cmmitted by SLA as well?

You must have heard of Binduduwewa massacre of Tamil suspects, who did it? Why not talk about it?

Binduduwewa case is completely isolated one and there was no such involvement with armed forces.

Case against of Police inspector were made for not giving enough protections.

Justice is done in Sri Lankan way.
Sitting Judges of the Court
Hon. Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva, P.C

Hon. Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake

Hon. Justice J.A.N de Silva

Hon. Justice T.B.Weerasooriya

Hon. Justice Nihal Jayasinghe

Hon. Justice Shirani Tilakawardene

Hon. Justice N.K.Udalagama

Hon. Justice Nimal Dissanayake

Hon. Justice A.R.N.Fernando

Hon. Justice R.A.N.G.Amaratunga

Hon. Justice Saleem Marsoof, P.C

Out of 11 Supreme Court judges 10 Sinhalese and 1 Muslim.
Sinhalese say it is because LTTE/Tamil fight and Muslims don't, so, there is a Muslim SC judge.

There is one criketer, Muralitharan (not the crook)is given a chance for his good behaviour and skilful performance. This is justice according to the former Captain who is an MP now with the Govt.

91% of the SC judges are Sinhalese, which, they say is justified in a Sinhala Buddhist country. Tamils/Muslims/Burgers make up 26% of the population and with 9% of the SCJ, not bad, we have no choice other than 'take it or leave it'. They can be 100%, there is nothing we can do about it? No use saying no PM or President was elected from this 26% of the population during the last 58 years of independance, they decide and we either be law abiding minorities or leave the country.
