Title is misleading. Even I surprised when I read about 20 year child soldiers. But here we were talking about something else. In a nutshell, I was referring to strategies of LTTE to recruit children and how to keep them in their force
Thank u..ok this thread is all about child soldiers and 20 years and that is the reason i was talking against it..
If you want to discuss about Child recruitments and Children who then grow to be adults, it is a different issue..we can discuss that too..!!
It was a Known fact that LTTE did recruit children those days (i am not sure they still do with all the IC pressure) and I am totally against it. At the same time we see Government sponsored Karuna doing the same but it is simply denied and we accept it as False news..It is a tuff one,..what is your take on it? |

If you wish no further communication with my replies, fine, that's up to you to decide.
But if you read carefully, you would have noticed that I said 'I presume, pardon me'. And that is a way of saying, if I presumed in correctly, you are always at liberty to contradict my presumption.
But, for me, I am solid in my stance. I am vehemantly against LTTE and its terrorism. And, true to my heart, I believe the SL armed forces have a legitimate right to eradicate the LTTE and its terrorism from this beautiful country.
No double standards about that with me. |

It is so simple. No matter who did/do it, it is a criminal act. Helpless children are not cattle for farming or fighting on behalf of any. On the same note, Karuna is not given a free permit to recruit children because LTTE does the same. If SL GOV help Karuna, UN must act promptly to save children from those power hungry leaders. |

U dont have to agree with me but you should accept my view on issues as well rather than presuming or assuming!!
