Should ask the Sinhala villagers who are growing the stuff, they would know.

The Army showed video clippings of the discovery of a cannabis farm in one of the 16 camps of the LTTE in the Kanjikudichcharu jungle which the Special Task Force (STF) had captured.

The LTTE has, however, denied that it had been cultivating cannabis.

I don't think that innocent and desciplined LTTE terrorists will grow cannabis in their camps OR they won't allow anybody to do it if they have seen it. For sure, they might have not seen those farms even though those farms were next to their camps.

Also, I'm sure LTTE will empower an ACT in it's court against cannaby farms soon. WE still remember it passed an act using children in war activities.

STF were repulsed in a counter-attack by the Tigers Tuesday evening. The STF commandos, during their retreat, left behind a dead body of a paramilitary cadre with his arms and ammunition,

- S. Seeralan, LTTE's Batticaloa district deputy political head.

STF have been lying all this time?

We will know the truth in the coming months Mr. Seeralan.

More good news:

Appeal Court to decide on ceasefire agreement legality
(TamilNet, Wednesday, 17 January 2007, 17:19 GMT)

Sri Lanka's Court of Appeal Wednesday fixed the inquiry for 6 March into the petitions by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) seeking the declaration that the Ceasefire Agreement (CFA) signed on 22 February, 2002 and currently in operation is bad in law and contravening the constitution of the country.

haha poor MR has sure gotten himself in a pickle with all his friends, nor APRC, no MoU and soon no CFA, poor fool is not going to have anything to distract the IC with when they come asking him how the peace process is going LOL.

Of course the poor fool is hoping to have wiped out the LTTE by March 6, heheh *snicker* ;)

Reporter, you are right. I don't think the LTTE leadership encourage the Cannabis cultivation under their control. They probably have grown Cannabis around their camps in case the Army decides to attack them, they can just burn the crops and then the army will get high....or could be the reason some rotten LTTE thugs decides to make some money and start to grow cannabis. Praba is the most innocent civilized man on earth. He would never encourage anything like that.
