I always value your contributions.
Of course, the SLG is wrong and destructive in their (mis)adventure of pushing with the intention of humiliating LTTE and if possible defeating. The war is unwinnable, but, it's jaw-jaw, so gives the advancing party an illusion of victory.
The Tamils ask for devolution because their efforts on compromises were never accepted by successive SL GOVTs.
Any devolution that allow the 'system' functions itself without any interference to frustrate the democratic will of the Tamils is acceptable. Even LTTE will come round to it. They may bargain for the sun but settle down with the moon. In haste, see you later. |
