I always state the facts as I find them. I am receptive to correction if my memory fails me. I am neutral in my approach. If the facts give the impression that they are 'anti-Sinhalese' because they do not do justice to other two communities. |

STF commandos seizes another Tiger Base
The seizure came when security forces made advances on the boarders of Batticaloa and Ampara, from where Tigers used to attack security and civilian targets. This terrorist base had a large stock of looted humanitarian aids, meant for the thousands confined in the fighting areas.
Security sources also revealed that torture chambers used for harassing defiant civilians and child soldiers were also found within the Tiger base premises.
With solid evidence shown Pro-Tiger media hastened to deny the accusation on these secret 'torture chambers'. However, defence sources brought this to the attention of the international humanitarian agencies as it constitutes a crime against humanity.
Meanwhile Air Force fighter jets attacked Tiger positions in Verugal in Batticaloa yesterday morning (17).
The pilots of the jets have confirmed that the targets were precisely attacked. |
