| Relatively speaking yesterday was a good day for LTTE. There are no substantial news items on additional LTTE losses. However, LTTE can do a favor by retreating from eastern region to minimize human loss. What is the point on losing the region slowly with high casualities or giving it up with low casualities? At the sametime, LTTE cadres should listen to the govt appeal and surrender so that they will get a new life with foreign employment. Lets hope that our leaders will take the wise decisions to minimize loss. |

Priyanthy sis, it is easy to know the truth, there is only one simple question to ask:
Who is still in control of Vaharai?
You see simple, if you believe GoSL punnakku Vaharai must have fallen hours ago, because according to GoSL they had taken the two key gateways to Vaharai both to the north and south, so with only under 200 LTTE there it should have been walk in the park to take Vaharai.

COLOMBO: A huge military build-up by the LTTE in Kilinochchi was reported in the last week of January, ready for deployment depending on the situation in the south, the SLMM said. 'Kilinochchi remained tense, also due to the larger incidents taking place in the south. There are indications of preparations for a larger battle taking place, possible in the next few weeks, depending on the developments in the rest of the country,' the monitors said in their latest situation report.
