As for the torture cells, every police station and army camp are torture cells where not only tamils but the sinhalas also are tortured daily.

Corruption, drugs, torture and all kinds of unsavoury and illegal activities are part and parcel of life in Sri Lanka.Remember, Sri Lanka is a failed state!

Police and Army are protecting the country and its citizen. The authority and power have been granted to these institutions to arrest anyone who break the law and order of the country. This is how it works everywhere in the world. These institutes keep criminals aways from general public.

LTTE, being the sole rep of Tamils maintain torture camps just to punish carders who escape their camps. And interestingly dispora fund them to maintain those torture chambers. Based on the hieght and the size of the chambers, it seems like those chambers were used to punish children.

It is a well known fact that LTTE has close ties to drug trafficking networks in south East Asia and other parts of the world. LTTE's biggest source of funds are coming from drug trafficking and arms smuggling. According to strategicforesight.com LTTE leadership made 100-250 million through drug trafficking and arms smuggling in 2005.

Why dont the sinhala army get out of the east in order to avoid losses to human life

so many civilians are being shot at close range by sinhala army, bombed by them or get accidently killed in crossfire
