The rift in the UNP between the reformist group and the Ranil Wickremasinghe camp widened last week, with preparations being made for a crossover, there were signs that the rift in the SLFP was also coming into the open. Like in the UNP where the leader and his number two were on opposing sides, in the SLFP too, the leader and his de facto number two are on opposing sides. While Mangala Samaraweera does not have an official designation as the Deputy Leader of the SLFP, he is clearly, the next in the line of succession. For a while now, there have been stories in the press about the rift between Mangala Samaraweera and President Mahinda Rajapakse.

Hi sir ariyalai-sb
I'm doing well thanks. how are you?

what is happening in amparai and the east is true, ltte is only withdrawing instead of putting up with a fight.

we all know the govt is hell bent on provoking the ltte to declare war while the slmm are called to Colombo and not functioning as usual.

so much things are happening behind the screens and these recently developed events are only heading towards one direction.

i cant wait!!

Mahinda wants to eliminate the ltte & implement a unitary solution after demerging North from east. But JVP traitors dont join the Govt to support mahinda. That is why mahinda has to get MPS from UNP.JVP is doing dirty politics. They have betrayed the patriot masses voted for them by not joining the Govt.JVP wants to put the country in to trouble by making Govt & Mahinda unstable. Then they can political advantages.JVP are bastards who betrayed the patriot president & mahinda chinthana to get dirty political benefits.Because of JVP, LTTE get some advantages now.JVP is pushing mahinda in to the federal solution by not supporting mahinda.

Hi abdulsalaam
greetings. I'm fine abdulsalaam. how are you?

Found a little spare time and thought of snooping in. May be I can drop in off and on.

why not.

Was the CFA illegal all this time?

it was ruled by Eric legal at the Geneva 1 when DE Silva said the CFA is unconstitutional.

That is what the JVP and the JHU have been
saying all this while. From where did you get this 5 year rule? Can you explain that?

it is one of the rule on war related resolutions logged at the UN.but i do not know how i can confirm this
with a link at this stage. if i get it i will post it in your LNP space.

Six civilians killed in Vavuniya, 2 abducted

TamilNet, Wednesday, 17 January 2007, 06:05 GMT

Six persons, including a woman and a driver attached to Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) were shot and killed, and two young men riding in a three-wheeler were killed, in two separate incidents in Vavuniya, Tuesday night. Four of the victims were killed at a house in Kurumankadu, 2 km west of Vavuniya town, 200 meters from a Police post, and the other two victims, riding in a three-wheeler on Rice Mill Road were shot dead. One of the victims was burnt inside the three-wheeler, Police said.
Anton Rupaseelan, 26, Clive Rohan Rajadurai, 44, a driver attached to MSF, Anthonypillai Ponmani, 57, a woman, and Yoganathan Jeyanthan, 28, were identified as the four victims who were shot and killed at Kurumankadu around 8:00 p.m.

The killers had come to the house that has been rented out by one of the victims, Mr. Clive Rohan Rajadurai, when he was visiting the house, according to his family.

A 25-year-old woman, Jasmin Sivakumar, was wounded. She is the only witness to the killings at the house.

Perumal Chandrasekaran, 25, and Tharatharan Ramesh, 30, were the victims who were killed around 9:00 p.m. while they were riding in a three-wheeler. One of the victims was the driver of the three-wheeler.

Their bodies were handed over to the Vavuniya hospital by ICRC, the police said.

Meanwhile, two young men, Markandu Jeyarajan, 30, Danushkodi Sivakanthan, 26, travelling in an autorikshaw have been abducted by armed men at Maraambaikkulam, according to a complaint made by their relatives. The abductors had come in two motorbikes and a three-wheeler

Vitharane's report is now being discribed by the JVP thugs and rowdies in robes as, 'dividing' the country. This exactly what was said 50 years ago about the BC pact and the DC pact a few years later.
This shows how backward are the sinhala state terrorists.
Their aim is not to treat the Tamils with dignity and honour but to subjugate them. But Tamils cannot be sbjugated by the barbaric sinhala state terrorists.
