the Q here is , who is the mass murderer? is it the ltte or the govt.

*jaffna library was burnt by the govt.
*in revenge ltte killed 13 army.
*for that 13 army , the govt killed more than 3000 innocent civilians.

You are trying to figure a complexive problem out thro' a close ended question; may be this is how you were taught to think by LTTE'ers who got little brains.
If LTTE can start a war killing 13 soldiers at one spot just because govt backed thugs (not army ok) burnt down a library, you guys who support such a liberation war must be the laughing stock of the country.
Anyway Jaffna library incident was just one among several injustice taken place. If you say 3000 tamils lost their lives in 83, it's not the truth. As far as i know it was somewhere around 400 ppl. But you got to know thousands of tamils were rescued by fellow sinhalese, even risking their own lives (May be LTTE do not want you to know that part).
For a communal riot just burst out of 'emotions' of 'some sinhalese' and 'under the plan of few govt thugs' killed 400 ppl, OUT OF SUDDEN RAGE.
How about LTTE planning, planning and so much planning for nothing else but to kill, and killing several tens of thousand ppl WITH THE REAL INTENTION FOR ETHNIC CLEANSING?
You decide who is the mass murderer now (if you hv atleast an ounce of brain).... |

are the people in so called liberated areas by the sorry lankan government live in a safe and a secure environment ???? can you tell me that people in these areas are free to move around ??? can a woman go out after 6Pm and will have the assurance of returning home safely ???, how about the people who are being killed every day by sla and the coolies... what choice do we have other than to look upto Praba ?, also lets say if Praba is defeated do you think your sorry lankan government will let the tamil people survive , it will be a mass murder ... come to reality .

| Stripes, the areas you mention are not safe because of the LTTE. The mad killers of the LTTE kill indiscriminately. The said same woman is quite safe in the streets of Colombo or any other town NOT run or threatened by the LTTE. Its a simple realization, the LTTE is the core reason for the security situation in the country. If there was not LTTE, then there is no reason for the SLA to be in the N and E. There can be a civilian administration. Then if the said woman gets into trouble, the police and judiciary will have to look in to it. Like it is elsewhere in SL. |

whatever ... all of you are the same just keep saying the same old thing but never condemn the atrocities commited by the SL forces, you starve the people, bomb them, rape them, destroy everthing that belongs to them and your forces are angels and they are doing this because of the tigers.... no use |
