No bro i have no problem..I am married to a burgher and her sisters are married to sinhalese and i have a bro who is married to a sinhalese so i don't care whether my kids goes to school with sinhalese or anyone or who is my neighbor bro..!! it is a pity that we talk about it..

| Capturing a camp, empty or not is still capturing a camp. In a way its better to capture an empty camp, that saves the STF killing a few more innocent, brain washed kids. Camps constitutes to the LTTE infrastructure, so crippling the infrastructure is important. But then the LTTE is famous for down-playing their losses. Had the camp been full of cadres and the STF killed them all, suddenly it may have been an orphanages with blind children making toys for other blind children. LOL |

I hate when people jump in to conclusions without thinking too much, and digging in unwanted places, but hey that's me and you are free to do whatever you want to. As we all know there are troublemakers, peacemakers and neutrals, all of them are in this fascinating forum. Your way of welcoming people in to forum is outdated and need some urgent updates, remember you are just a member on this forum as all the others and not the gate keeper, and act like one please.
Other than that I am enjoying every bit of conversation with you and I want to have a good dialog with you from now on too.

i read few lines in your post. you say ltte this and that and commit mass murders.
i must tell you ltte did not kill those innocent civilians in 1983 July .
on top the ltte never killed sinhala civilians to match that number in one day!
now, tell me who is the mass murderer? if you are in the state of right mind.
I agree and deeply regret the shameful bloody thing happened in 1983; As you might know it was the govt then which let it fuelled and extended without taking action to fish in troubled waters (they banned JVP, putting the responsibility on them). Of course when 13 bodies of army were sent to colombo for the first time in the history sinhalese' emotions went out of control; but it was not deadly unless govt promoted those riots with their own thugs behind the scene.
With the way it happened within a day or two, it was not a planned communal riot by sinhalese; just emotions burst and some others who were outside (govt thugs) had a ride with it. How would you refer to same sort of communal riots occured in india between hindus and muslims. Can someone take those incidents at ransome to wage a 'never ending' war to kill another thousand times of ppl in return.
Communal fights are not alien to countries like ours who r still in the developing level; even you see how many mulims take the law in their hands and hit majority sinhalese when mere a road accident takes place in a muslim dominated town. So if you r to keep one indcident in your memory (I don't underestimate it, but don't we hv to move on?) to deny all expectations for a decent life that is deserved by ppl who were not part of the unfortunate incident, not even born at that time... will that be much of a help?
LTTE is fighting for Prabha's survival cos they know prabha cannot survive without his vanni hide out which doesn't hv to exist if peace comes back. That's the universal truth of CURRENT eelam war sister. Don't get deceived... Don't forget how much we, sinhalese have been nice to tamils letting you peacefully live and work and perform to the best at south, while..
- we are deprived of that right in North and East,
- while sinhalese hatred feelings are spread among tamils,
- while we know even our neibouring tamil could be backing LTTE to kill our brothers, husbands, fathers in army,
- while our hospitable sense of humour is being used to blast bombs killing us without a war around any near by
Just listen to your heart and see if you r doing the right thing by getting deceived under LTTE crap.... |
