We can't trust many of them too, cos they are politicians!:)
But we can trust our Armed force's strength and the vision of its leaders in defeating and crippling the LTTE terrorism.
That's all what matters now.

Guys The way I read these little victories the SLA are celebrating would depend on the credibility of recent past announcements by Fonseka!
He said in December that he needs only a few days to mop up East then they are going to walk over to NORTH!!!
Thats the statement of the year!!
So lets not get excited over these guys!!! Not yet!!looks like we have a long way to go!! |

Hush Robins don't wake them from their stupor, you know and I know what the Ponseka said, it went from two weeks (which was Jan 9th BTW) to clear the east to two months to now a 'few' months. Of course the blighters live in some Orwelian la la land so today they will be at war with Eurasia and tomorrow everything will be forgotten and they are ready to fight Eastasia, so leave them be ;) |

As for the vertical stripes those are for the Victor anti-armour brigade not the Imran-Pandians. (and yeah I might agree with you they don't look so great ;) )
You lost the whole point. In the battle field, look takes the second place while safety is given the first place. If they work for anti-armour brigade, mostly they have to operate big equipments while standing. So vertical stripes provide perfect camourflage.
Those in field do things with purpose while letting those with keyboards to ponder!

Oh don't get me wrong I really don't care if it looks bad or not all I care is they do top notch work, 6 MBTs, and 6 APCs taken out in Muhamalai on Oct 11th is more than enough to make up for any fashion faux pas =) |
