| | Thai Pongal went peacefully Tuesday, 16 January 2007 - 12:10 AM SL Time | | | January 14 is devoted to one of Tamil Traditional festivals worldwide.
Last twenty years, south people scared when January 14 is closer because they thought that LTTE would do a big thing on that day. However, we did not see such a destructive activity in this year. I urge both Government and LTTE to reach to an agreement to avoid difficult time to Sri Lankan, mainly the people north, and eastern Sri Lanka.

| Yes happy pongal to you too. Yes peace would be nice but a real peace, not just peace for the South alone. |

| Thai Pongal is to celebrate success. However, this year, no any success was achieved. We have to make pressure towards that better achievements. |
