But, the continuation of violence and its refusal to agree to a political settlement have cost it international support to a great extent, as evident form the bans being slapped on it.
Who offered a political settlement? In the last 25 years has there been any credible effort to work a political settlement. It is a Government that can offer a political settlement. There was 2 years of peace when the CFA happened. But the SLG did not like it. Not even the time of Tsunami was made use by the SLG to bring peace. Now Mahinda is even distancing himself from the 'Majority report' proposed by his own expert committee.
So the logical alternative is to continue the blood shed. It doesnt matter if the common man suffers or if the country suffers and remains backward. Politicians can get richer because of the war. All opponents can be killed and the LTTE can be blamed. Absolute rule of the President and his cronies over a willing and brainwashed public. |

Same old record played year after year on zeros day from the wanni.praba the tyrant is dam cowered holed up in a bunker within a bunker while innocent tamils lives are been sacrificed.this thug is simply playing for time hoping his fortunes may miraculously change. if he lasts till this years zeros day it would be inter sting to know what he has on offer instead of eelam, because for the past 20 years thats what he has been promising but has still to deliver |

what are they? are their memory power that weak? or is is the propaganda applied by sinhala governments too strong and that wiped the memorys.

what made this CFA? LTTE come to CFA with strong position.

LTTE kills for Tamils for political reasons, kills sinhalese to terrorise them.... Engages in every act that would be in the definition of a Terrorist organization and more.... GOSL obviously has to apply counter terrorist methods that is befitting of the brutality of the LTTE.
All these nonsense about starving civilians and bombing civilians is the picture that LTTE wants to portray... verified by Catholic priests who are in bed with the LTTE. I am sure civilians have been killed by the counter terrorism measures... however that is a result of LTTE using human shields to make sure as many Tamil civilians die to get the IC sympathy. LTTE does not care about the Tamils... they are running a multi million dollar business that needs violance and Tamil deaths to survive.
During when the CFA was in effect(which does not exist anymore) there were no Tamil civilian deaths (except the killing conducted by the LTTE to eliminate its political opponents) because there was no need to adopt counter terrorism tactics... it just goes to show that LTTE's declaration of war ever since Dec 2005 when it started killing Army and Navy personnal with roadside bombs has resulted in the present situation.
All the LTTE goons on this board are merely attempting contribute to the health of the LTTE's multi million dollar business by givng the LTTE spin on everyting. They want more violance in the South and they want more violance in the NE.. that is the only way they can keep the Tamil expats keep contributing.... |
