Peter Genders could not afford a motor home to take his wife Verity on a second honeymoon.
So he set up a website offering a £2.69 beer and vowed to trade up until he had the van.
Five months of shrewd bartering later,Pete,28,got the keys to W-reg VW camper.He admitted;`I never expected to do so well.`
In his first deal,Pete sawpped the Lincoln GrALE for a day as a local newspaper editor.
That soon became a morning co-hosting a radio show and then tickets for The Zutons
Brewer Pete,of Lincoln,said:`One Zutons fan even asked if I fancied a night with his girlfriend.`
He eventually went for a £500 Citroen.Then,on Christmas Eve he was offerd a camper van. |
