SLN cancels ship transport, clashes erupt in the seas off Nagarkovil
Sunday, 7 January 2007 - 12:38 PM SL Time

A Sri Lanka military ship scheduled to transport civilians and military personnel to Trincomalee from KKS Harbour Saturday has cancelled the trip as clashes erupted in the seas off Nagarkovil in Vadamaradchi East Saturday evening around 3:45 p.m. Around 350 civilians who were transported to KKS High Security Zone from Jaffna were sent back.

Gunshots and heavy rocket fire was heard in the seas off Nagarkovil.

Sri Lanka Navy uses transports civilians and military personnel from KKS to Trincomalee.

The A9 landroute from Jaffna Peninsula remains closed since August.

Here we go again with Tamil nut crying the good old song about the A-9 being closed. Very bad for the LTTE budget, isn?t it?
So now the non-appointed protectors of the Tamils found nothing better than making the lives of 350 of their civilians even more difficult by preventing them to leave KKS. Bravo, you really take good care of them!
No wonder why you are loosing so much ground in the East and are so desperate, that your only solution is to attack innocent people travelling in buses.

Why do you think this happened? If you have followed me threads you will know I have already pridicted it before.
This is nothing new.
LTTE has nothing to do with it.
It is all done by the SLA to make life as difficult as possible for tamils. PERIOD.
Why would a government that bombs civilians feed them?
It dose not make sense.
Tamils watch out. GoSL is not the hands that feeds you.
This is all a show for the IC, but the IC knows this all too well.
GoSL must come up with something better.

So What really happend? :)
was it one SLN boat firing at another cos the captain of one boat took other ones girl? or was it a 3rd party?
now the big question is if 'LTTE has nothing to do with it' then what stopped TamilNet saying that?

It is all done by the SLA to make life as difficult as possible for tamils. PERIOD.

So what exactly SLA did? made loude noices to disturb the sleeping tamils?

Why would a government that bombs civilians feed them?
It dose not make sense.

:D I think you are excused. No one will expect you to think and realise big things like that ;)

Tamils watch out. GoSL is not the hands that feeds you.

so what should they do? wait till 'whatreallyhap' send his shipment of food from ..er where is it again?

This is all a show for the IC, but the IC knows this all too well.
GoSL must come up with something better.

Like what? like sending food and othe essential items to people in Jaffna?

ThinKing,
Good response. I think there is also an alternative to 'what really happened'.
Maybe one of the FAC's 'sponaneously combusted'!
On a thread in this forum some time back, the poster named 'St. Clair' stated that this was the reason that a Dvora exploded.
(This was during the ceasefire period where apparently a 'people's force' was carrying out attacks on the SL forces)

Its funny how some of the Pro-Eelamists come up with excuses to justify the actions of the LTTE!
Its almost as if they had to convince themselves!!

True LOL, but I am sure someone from the Eelam crowd can come up with a good answer to that!

UN calls for civilian protection
the civilians in Vaharai are the 'most vulnerable of the vulnerable.' The UN agencies stood ready to assist the civilians, but said there has been no access to Vaharai for humanitarian agencies. The last convoy, after repeated protests, was allowed on 29 November with humanitarian supplies for two weeks

The UN must enforce sanctions on this Govt of evil.
