Not only to NE provincial counil (PC), JR didn't give anything at the begining to any other PC. It took time to struggle and get the necessary power and resources to manage their own affairs. It has not happened only to Tamils, Sinhalese too were in the same boat, but there was no one to declare a separate state like V-P! |

The non-Singhalese in Colombo were not settled by the Sri Lankan government and the government didn't take the traditional Singhala land and gave it free to the non-Sinhalese in Colombo. Do you have a problem relating the government sponsored settlements and voluntary relocation of people?
The Tamils are not against the voluntary movement of all Sri Lankans from Kankesanthurai to Devendramunai. We are only against the government sponsored colonialism, do you understand?
The Tamils were living in Sri Lanka long before the arrival of Vijaya, do you know who said this, the renowned Singhala Historian Paul E. Pieris. He says that the Tamils in Rameswaram could have seen the Sri Lankan coast, long before the arrival of Vijaya. Remember, the Tamils were sea faring people.
You Singhalese came to the island after Tamils and slept with anything that landed on the Sri Lankan shore and multiplied like maggots.
