These bomb blasts in the south go on to show that nobody is safe in the country as long as the war continues. GoSL succeeds in hoodwinking southern masses by promising LTTE annihilation to them, thus opportunity for filling the coffers for the interested parties. On the other hand, the hoodwinked masses duly believe that the process of LTTE annihilation is on the verge of a successful completion, thanks to various propaganda machineries of GoSL.
GoSL wants to teach a lesson or two to the LTTE by bombing civilain settlements and wants LTTE face the wrath of the affected Tamil civilains. LTTE on the other hand pacifies the public by retaliatory actions. This cycle continues for a long time and has no signs of respite.
As long as the southern masses think that there will be an end to LTTE resistance militarily, there will be such blasts in the future too!! Remember, a government is only as good as the voters who elected it.

People voted for peace. That was the Mahinda Chintana. He was an honors leader. First day, he invited velu and goons for discussion. But arrogant mad dogs talked indiffererently and inhumanly. That is not problem of GOSL or people who voted but LTTE's.
