But what French did in Vietnam in late 60s and early 70s are absolute terrorism like SL doing for tamils.
French Resistance (whose leader was Chales De Gaulle) was not the French Goverment.
This is what we need to understand about Sinhalese/Tamils/GOSL/LTTE as well. We are very good at division along racial, relegious lines. But in the same breath we are very good at lumping everyone when it is conveneint to do so.

No no, man. I remember this battle and the conflicting casualty figures you mention. I need absolute proof.
Let me give you Muttur as an example. Tamilnet went so far as to admit that the tigers retreated, even though they gave a hilarious story of their 'objectives' being completed, whatever they were.
Muhamulai also, the govt admitted it was a failure, or at least the media here did.
So you see, I need a battle where both sides give the same story.
