I condemn this attack on the civilians, whoever did it.
Most sinhalas on this forum kept silent when the GOSL kept killing the tamil civilians under the pretext of bombing the Tiger bases.
If the Tigers did it, it is an understandable response to months of killings of tamil civilians by the GOSL.
Hope both sides keep the war confined to the combatants and leave the civilians alone. |

Repeating same thing over and over won't help anything. You say LTTE is terrorists and Tamils say other way around that GoSL is state terrorists; we have a stalemate here.
However, 'a terrorist state' can be removed through a referendum (at least in Sri Lanka, parties can be overthrown through elections), whereas, the 'terrorists' can't be removed by peaceful means.
Havign said that, it would greatly help to end this war if GOSL also have a fair and just political goal to fight for (so that all people in Sri Lanka can enjoy the same rights and live with honor and dignity). |

LOL what a joke Eskimo, and starving 600,000 in Jaffna is not GoSL policy? They tried it before to under CBK.
While I would like to see combat left to combatents as someone stated above, I really don't care anymore, if the southern masses want a war then they will also need to understand its consequences.
They cannot cheer for a remote control war where only Tamils live and die in the middle of the battle field and the south goes along their merry way.
No they need to see the war as well, only then will they think twice about supporting their criminal cabal in power. |
