Actually, I believe MR was not a bad man. LTTE had very good opportunity to work with him. However arrogannt nature of VP-talk did not allow it. See how arrogant Tamilsevan and VP talk when MR reqquest national level discussion.

LTTE's aim is not a political solution just as GOSL's aim is not a political solution.
Today LTTE as not the protector for the tamils but ONLY a bait for the tamils. Can you influence the LTTE ? Can I influence the LTTE ?. Did the LTTE protect the tamils of Vaharai ? Did the LTTE protect the tamils in Sampoor ?. They dont have the military capability to do so and neither do they want to do so. Because the LTTE theory is MORE TAMILS SUFFER then more will come to them. This is only true to a point. Not once the population has lost its knees!!. Then they look for survival NOT CHOICE!!. That is what LTTE's fight for eelam has got us to. In most war's if the enemy survives and not defeated then you become the loser. Today that is where the tamils are. Reduced to destitutes cos the War has gone far too long.
Your other point about the South. This again the classic tamil psychic. The OTHER SIDE HAS TO reach to us. The fact is LTTE and tamil politicians did not EXPLOIT the GREATEST weakness the SOUTH had. That was corruption. By adopting DIVISIVE socio economic strategies btw the Singhalese and the GOSL the tamils and the LTTE could have divided the singhalese and GOSL. The GOSL did this successfully with Ranil who divided the tamils from the LTTE. LTTE's in capable of thinking like this.
Now this war is not about the LTTE, not about the tamils. Its about VP and his family. How the entire tamil population serves its leader. No differnt to Mao, Castro or pol pot.
The South will reach to that too when MR Inc will take control of everything!!.
In any conflict making PEACE is close to impossible while making WAR is very easy. The 4 year ceasefire was the last chance for both tamils and singhalese. NOW WE WILL NEVER SEE PEACE. So lets FIGHT. Atleast lets agree on that!!. |

They are arragont and petty like the SLGOVT team. How can there be a 'national level discussion' on unitary Govt which no tamil even Ananthasangaree or D Devananda is not prepared to consider. MR must table concrete set of proposals for discussion instead of trying to impress the IC and put the hand on that 4.5 billion dollar aid. |

Yes by all means there is nothing to be proud to be sri lankan . But if i am given a choice to select btw sri lankan, tamil or singhalese then ill select sri lankan cos the other two are even worse options. Go and read your question. You asked me are you tamil or singhalese you fool.
I am not at all proud to be a sri lankan infact i will change my citizenship anytime soon. Who wants to be associated with this barbaric blood letting country and its races.
Like you very correctly said the other countries are million times better not the cannibal land we come from.

If LTTE did this, they are hurting Tamils than Sinhalese by these acts. We saw LTTE is not doing deliberate acts like this for years. Why now again..?
Are they loosing its central organizational structure? |

Why the hell should he ? What does he gain doing national service ? What do you think he is the re-incarnation of mother therrasa ? He has a family, his brothers etc to look after. If i was him ill go for 4.5 billion. If i even get 10% aid then utilise 10% of it and play out 10% then ill make 4.5 million US.
I like MR he is like VP. VP sold the dream of separation for the tamils and then rallied the entire population to become coolies for him now MR is doing in the name of fighting terrorism. He is rallying the entire south to beg, borrow, steal and sacrifice their lives to become coolies for him. These are two great leaders!!.
Well done VP and MR. They are true patriots and sons of the soil. Get all these tamil and singhala coolies to kill each other. If possible setup gas chambers or bring nuclear weapons. |
