If one were to keep track of all the LTTE training camps and bases and Sea tiger bases one might think the LTTE is bigger and more powerful than the SLA, SLN and SLAF put togather.
They keep on bombing and destroying base after base and still there are more and more.The LTTE never seem to run out of bases , amonunation and manpower. How is that possible?

Muttur Bombing injurs civillians
What a waste of time again to see quotes from the Tamilnet. They have taken more than the full day since the bombing to fabricate this!! what a gang of Goebelles these chaps are! I guess now that Rt Rev Rayappu Joeseph will also release a statement to this effect. May be the days are gone that these lies were accepted by anyone (other than pro-LTTE fellows) as Gospels. |

Yes only 3 and those are captured from SLN, but LTTE not use them against Dovers. Locally built small crafts use to do suicide mission against Dovers.

In the video, LTTE Sea Tigers can be seen using a variant of the 107mm Katyusha rocket, fired from a lightweight tripod, in pairs. This is believed to be a variant of the Chinese Type 63 107mm launcher. The Chinese produce a single tube version called a Type 85 fired from a man-portable tripod, but the North Koreans produce a double version. This is quite a rare weapon. The missile weighs about 18kg and has a range of about 8km.
In the engagement the Sea Tiger Strike Group appears to be firing at the naval base some 2-3km away. Fifteen rounds are seen being fired in the video, but the video is not continuous so there were possibly more. These weapons are ideal for insurgent terrorist campaigns, such as the LTTE's in Sri Lanka, and provide the terrorists with a form of artillery support that can be transported, hidden and easily used. The rockets are fired electrically from a few yards distance by simply connecting up a battery. Later in the video a Tamil Tiger is seen with a burnt face, possibly from standing too close to a rocket as it fires.
Also shown on the video are a number of 60mm mortars. Like the 107mm rockets these mortars can be broken down and carried relatively easily. It is not clear from the video if the mortars are of North Korean origin, but it would be no surprise if they were. One of the crews serving the two mortars in the video appears to be fairly professional, keeping up a high rate of fire despite incoming fire to their exposed position. The other crew appear less well trained.
The video also shows eight distinctively different 'stealth speedboats'. Without a hands-on technical inspection it is difficult to judge the efficacy of the stealth design, but the basic principles of stealth are adhered to in many respects. There also appears to be some steel plate armour on some of the boats.
The speedboats are powered by Johnson 200, or similar Yamaha, engines and are likely to be able to maintain a top speed of over 35kt in calm water. Each appears to be crewed by two Black Tiger suicide crew. The explosive content (apart from 122mm artillery shells stuck to the side deck of two of the boats) is not seen. The origins of the 'stealth' craft are the subject of much debate, and there are two schools of thought among intelligence analysts.
Some analysts believe the design and construction to be indigenous to Sri Lanka. They point out that the video shows several designs and that the Tamil population are by tradition expert boat builders. Furthermore the Sea Tigers have utilised speedboats as suicide weapons over the past few years. The frame on the front of the boat is described as holding spikes that fasten the boat to its target once they have collided.
The other view argues that the craft were primarily designed as 'stealth speedboats' and that the 'suicide' elements such as explosives have been added later. On two variants, 122mm artillery shells have been fixed to the side of the boat, limiting the effectiveness of the anti-radar design. The unusual frame on the front also detracts from the crafts' otherwise stealthy nature. Furthermore, the wiring for both the frame and the shells leads over the gunwale of the boats and has not been threaded through the body of the craft.
There are also different opinions about the objects on the frame. Are they spikes to fix the boat to its target when ramming or are they some form of initiation system that sets off the explosive on contact with the target? Some of the objects appear to be hollow tubes so the frame could be a weapon of some kind.
A further indication that the boats were not originally designed for suicide missions is a shot of cut-away parts of one boat's cockpit that are seen lying on the jungle floor.
Could the Tamil Tigers have obtained the boats from the same source as they got their 107mm rockets? North Korea has certainly shown interest in designing fast, stealthy craft for infiltrating South Korea and two years ago was reportedly approached by the LTTE for a multi-million dollar arms deal.
Not shown on the video were any surface-to-air (SAM) missiles. However, reports have indicated that a Sri Lankan Air Force Mi-24 'Hind' helicopter was shot down during this attack. Another Mi-24 had been shot down with a SAM the previous week near Jaffna. Again there is no indication as to the origin of the missile but it is possible that it was North Korean.
Other weapons on view include a variety of AK-type assault rifles, an RPD light machine gun, a Heckler Koch HK69A1 40mm grenade launcher (identical to those in service with the Sri Lankan Army, so probably a captured weapon), and a Singaporean CIS 40GL 40mm grenade launcher.

bomb on the head of Sinhalese..
Within couple of days news paper will carry the news of price increase..To divert the attention of innocent people, who are suffering the huge burden on their head, GOSL playing all this tacktics..Moday's never understand this..silently they put bomb on the head of the moda rallas as price increase.. when,innocent Bandas and Silvas mind turn to the kotti..Every bomb of GOSL to the LTTE,actually falling in the head of innocent people..In the name of cost of living..Better more and more falls on the head of Moday's..lols
I dont accept this bombing.
But can SLA keep silent when LTTE shelling to them ?

Whoever said that the Singhalese are modayas must have been a genius. All Singhalese eat the government punnaakku and come to blabber here. Now, many of them are coming out with this stupid talk like they have defeated the LTTE.
The fact of the matter is that LTTE was in more dire situations than these air attacks. The Sorry Lankan government always had the air power, but was that able to stop the LTTE from chasing the Singhala thugs out of North-East?
The sad part is that poor Singhala women are washing the Arab's toilets to earn foreign exchange in order to buy thousands of dollars worth bombs, but the Singhala Air Force is dropping those bombs over some cows and innocent children, , because the Sorry Lankan 'Airforce' is too scared to fly low and attack, therefore all of the bombs are missing the target and killing the cows and children.
Even the well trained American Airforce is missing the target and dropping the million dollar bombs over one dollar worth huts in Afghanistan, then what you expect from the renowned racist, clumsy Singhala Sorry Lankan 'Airforce'?
LTTE is not weak, but the Singhalese want to belive that LTTE is weak and it is their wishful thinking, which gives them something to be happy in their miserable life. They like this feel good politics of Mahinda brothers, because the majority of Singhalese are poor, uneducated, unemployed and married, but single miserable souls. All of their wives left to clean the Arab toilets, hence the attack on Tamils and killing of Tamil children make them proud and something to cheer about. That's what happening in this forum.
But, the LTTE is waiting because they don't want to ruin the good will and sympathy developing in the west towards the suffering Tamils. Germany is taking the leadership of European Union and the German minister has already expressed her displeasure with the Mahinda government,and German government pulled the pulg on foreign aid to the Sorry Lankan begging bowl. many NGOs are pressuring the European governments to lift the ban on LTTE.
LTTE knows well that the world will not tolerate another Darfur or Rwanda in Sri Lanka. They want the world to see that Mahinda brothers running wild and crazy like mad dogs, this will strengthen the Tamil cause. For example, up until Chandrika was in power, India talked about territorial integrity of Sri Lanka, but now the Indian government don't even mention about the territorial integrity.
I think the Sinhalayas are nothing, but a bunch of naive, gullible racists.

I read your last reply and I was amazed to see how much hatred you are sustaining in your heart towards the Sinhala race. I also see that all the people who express their opinions here against the LTTE, exclusively uses the word 'LTTE' but not 'Tamils' in general. Because they know that the general Tamils are innocent, peace-loving race. However, when I read your comments, I see what a lot of despise you have towards the Sinhala race in general. And your hatred is very obvious from the words that you use in your postings.
It is very sad to realize that this is the kind of hatred that the Pirapaharan the terrorist has been able to cultivate in the country. Pirapaharan has not been able to win his self-declared war, but has been very successful in cultivating a steaming hatred in guys like you, who will go the extra mile to uphold the LTTE brutality, which the whole world despise. Shame on your mis-informed hatred.

| Not three consecutive days, GOSL will bomb few more days. Because fuel price has been increased. There will be secondary effect by this increase fuel price. COL went up by 20% last month. Killing tamil children is the only way to divert the attention in the south. |
